My First Photoshop Touchup

I’m sure you have all heard of the amazing things you can do to a photo with Adobe’s Photoshop. I recently had my first chance to dabble in this art. On Sunday I took some photo’s of Jadine and America down in Los Altos (we’re going to be working together on some future shoots. More on that later). When I got home I discovered that Jadine had some stray hairs across her face in one of the photos. Seemed like the perfect oppurtunity to make do my first Photoshop touchup. Consulting Scott Kelby’s “Professional Portrait Retouching Techniques for Photographers using Photoshop” (longest book title ever ;^) I easily found the technique I wanted and removed the hairs. I decided to go ahead and smooth out her skin as well. Over all I’m very pleased with the result. Here are the before and after photo’s. What do you think?
